Danzig's gray son EXCHANGE RATE comes from a female line of early maturing stakes performers. As anticipated by his genotype, he transmits powerful hindquarters, especially strength through the gaskins, making him an ideal sire to gain fast-twitch muscle fiber in his progeny.

Standing 16 hands high, EXCHANGE RATE is a proven sire who seems to unite with a variety of different lines. Sons of Danzig sire many Group/Graded stakes winners from mares which reinforce Native Dancer, Bull Dog and his brother Sir Gallahad III. Already we know EXCHANGE RATE succeeds when Mr. Prospector and/or Buckpasser lines are reinforced, and I have a suspicion he will get Graded stakes winners from mares with Halo and Roberto lines. Mares with Blushing Groom, Storm Bird and Nijinsky II also appeal.
