    At the Keeneland September Sale, Silver Charm had an outstanding sale. The 21 Silver Charm yearlings sold averaged $172,000 -- or SIX times his stud fee. The median was $110,000.

    A colt by Silver Charm was the third highest priced of the session on Wednesday, September 10 at $675,000. The colt was bred by Ivy Dell Stud, consigned by Carmichael Sales and was purchased by Fleetwood / N.W. Mgt.

    Colts by Silver Charm were the third and fourth highest priced of the session on Sunday, September 14 at $380,000 and $360,000. A colt out of Silver Spool was consigned by Clarkland Farm and purchased by M & M Racing for $380,000.     A Silver Charm colt was the third high-priced colt of the OBS Selected Two-Year-Old Sale this week. The colt sold for $360,000 to Mike Gill. He breezed an eighth in :10 during the sale video pre-view. The colt was consigned by Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds and Randy Hartley told Thoroughbred Times Today, "Everybody is so excited about [Silver Charm] because they know the older they get, the better they will be. I feel like this colt is only going to get better, too."

    A weanling filly by Silver Charm easily topped all weanlings at the Fasig-Tipton's Midlantic December Mixed Sale, bringing $103,000. The filly out of Promiseville was consigned by Bill Reightler and purchased by Josham Farms Ltd.

    For Week ending November 15, 2002

    A weanling colt by Silver Charm was the second high priced of the third Keeneland November session, at $300,000. Consigned by Wintergreen Farm, he was purchased by Robert and Beverly Lewis. Six of the seven weanlings through the ring at the Keeneland November Sale were sold for a very healthy average of $68,667 -- almost three times Silver Charm's stud fee.

    For Week ending October 4, 2002

    At the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling Sale in Maryland, a Silver Charm filly topped the sale at $150,000. She was consigned by Summerfield and purchased by Buzz Chace. The filly is out of My Big Sis, a half-sister to Kentucky Derby Winner Lil E. Tee. Prior to the Maryland Sale, the 21 Silver Charm yearlings sold this year had averaged $126,857 -- more than five times their stud fee.
