If you've been thinking that War Chant's second crop (just turned-3-year-olds) seem a little quiet compared with last year, you're right ­ and there's good reason. It turns out that 33% of his second crop foals have been exported to Europe, where there is virtually no racing this time of the year.

That compares with just 11% of his first crop foals that were exported to Europe, while the rest were winning their career debuts in December, January and February last year at a prodigious rate. Now that we know that, we're getting ready for a flood of wins this April!
